Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. James is the father of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. The mother of Manny James is caucasian and his father is Nigerian. Following his graduation at Sanderson High School, in 2010 he enrolled at Wake Forest University and obtained an Economics Bachelor's Degree. James was famous after he appeared on The Bachelorette as a reality TV celebrity. James was selected in the year 2020 to be the next bachelor in The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's initial African American male star. The show premiered later in the year. James seemed to be the perfect choice for the role because He is attractive, well-rounded and tall and has a sense of humor.
